ALVIN ALMAZAN is a young and upcoming tenor from San Diego. Having graduated from SDSU in May 2015 with a degree in Kinesiology, he has since gone on to pursue a career as a performer. His recent activity includes being 1 of 3 singers advancing to the Western Regional round of the 2017-2018 Met Opera National Council Auditions, as well as a performance of Haydn's Creation with Grossmont Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale. He has just finished a performance as Rodolfo in Puccini’s La bohème this past July with Capitol Opera and is an Apprentice level singer in San Diego Opera’s, Opera Exposed Young Artist Program.
