Salvador Padilla - Baritone
Internationally acclaimed baritone Salvador Padilla made his debut with the Spanish company "Antología de la Zarzuela de Jose Tamayo” in Buenos Aires Argentina. The tour continued through Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, USA, Spain, Romania, Yugoslavia and Israel. Subsequently the Antología de la Zarzuela was premiered at EXPO Sevilla 92 with Placido Domingo. Maestro Padilla appeared with the New York Ambassadors of Opera and Concert Worldwide Ltd. during the world tour in Baku Azerbaijan, Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Quatar, Bahrain, Asia and Africa.
Salvador Padilla made his US debut with Pacific Repertory Opera in San Luis Obispo California with the role of Marcello in La Boheme and later the role of Sharpless in Madama Buttetfly. He performed the Role of Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with Towsend Opera Players in Modesto California and later the title of Rigoletto, Aida and Tosca. Salvador has appeared at the Teatro de los Heroes in Chihuahua Mexico in the title of Gianni Schicchi, Michele in Il Tabarro, Dandini in Cenerentola, Alfio in Cavaleria Rusticana, Escamillo and Zuñiga in Opera Carmen, Basilio in Barbero de Sevilla.
Member of Merola Opera Program, Salvador Padilla is a First place winner of Ellen Faull Gordon Vocal Competition in Portland Oregon, Ezio Pinza Vocal Competition for American singers, First place and National Winner of the Bel Canto Foundation of Chicago and a scholarship Opera Studio at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and Winner of Metropolitan Opera Competition in San Diego.
